Zest Bakery and Coffeehouse was born from a simple conviction: that the best mornings deserve more than convenience. Located on Isadore Street in the heart of Stevens Point, we've built a space where every croissant is laminated by hand, every espresso is pulled to order, and every guest is treated like they belong.
Our bakers arrive before dawn. Our baristas train for months before they touch a portafilter. We source single-origin beans and locally milled flour because the details are not details — they are the whole point. This is not a coffee shop that happens to sell pastries. This is a bakery that understands coffee, and a coffeehouse that respects the craft of bread.
Our Philosophy

Ingredient Integrity
We source French butter, stone-milled flour from regional mills, and single-origin coffee beans roasted within 14 days of arrival. If we wouldn't eat it ourselves, it doesn't enter our kitchen.
Time as an Ingredient
Our sourdough proofs for 24 hours. Our croissants are laminated over three days. We don't rush fermentation, and we don't rush extraction. Good flavor cannot be accelerated.
Community Roots
Zest is not a chain. We are neighbors. We partner with local dairy farms, support Stevens Point artists, and believe a coffeehouse should be a living room for the community.
